Beet Seed

Beet Seeds. Beets are a dual purpose crop and you can eat the greens as well as the root.
Plant as early as 2-3 weeks before last frost. Plant seed1/2 to 1 inch deep on 2 inch spacing in rows 1 foot apart and thin to 4 inches once they have grown a couple of inches tall.

Beets are one of my favorites for the square foot beds. I plant 16 per square foot.
