Cherokee Trail of Tears Pole Bean. The Cherokee Trail of Tears Pole Bean was one of the many surprises in the 2008 trials. It was a pole bean of history that produced well, was good as a young snap bean as well as both a dry bean and shell bean. I really can't say enough good things about it.
 The name comes from it reportedly being carried to OK over the Trail of Tears by the Cherokees. It is listed as 85 Days but I think this is to the dry stage. They do get stringy as they fill out. Package of 50 seeds.
